Top Ten Authors on Auto-Buy

Top Ten Tuesday is hosted over at The Broke And The Bookish, and this week the theme is authors that are on your auto-buy list.

  1. Tahereh Mafi-- Chapter 62. That. Is. All. :) Can't wait to see what happens next, and I can't wait to see what else Tahereh Mafi writes in the future.
  2. Stephenie Meyer-- I am a very loyal Stephenie Meyer Fan. I loved all the Twilight books, and The Host, and I'm super excited now that Stephenie is working on the sequel to The Host.
  3. Carolyn Keene-- Okay, so technically Carolyn Keene is just a pseudonym for a bunch of different people writing, but it still counts. Nancy Drew is the first "Big Kid" book that I read, and turned me into the bookworm that I am today.
  4. Maria V. Snyder--After reading Poison Study, I was hooked. Then came the Glass books, and now  the Healer books, I've yet to read one that I didn't love. And, word on the street is that Maria V. Snyder is going to be writing more books in the Study series. THAT means more Valek. And I sure do love me some Valek. :)
  5. Cassandra Clare-- As soon as I read the first page of City of Bones, I fell in love. I was introduced to Shadowhunters and Downworlder, and so many other things.
  6. Suzanne Collins--I was on an emotional rollercoaster while I was reading the Hunger Games Trilogy, but in the best way possible.
  7. Kaori Naruse-- Pretear was the very first graphic novel I ever read, and it got me hooked on them.
  8. Brigid Kemmerer
  9. Rachel Hawthorne-- Specifically because of the book Thrill Ride. :)
  10. Melanie Dickerson-- I love fairy tales retold, and I think that Melanie Dickerson does a fantastic job!
